The Club now expects riders to have their emergency contact information (ICE) with them when on rides.

Sunday and Thursday Rides Leaders Required!

Volunteers to lead rides in 2026, where there are many gaps in the programme, are encouraged and welcomed. Please consult the diary for free dates and send your suggestions to Neil Westwell on ridelancasterctc@gmail.com.

If you write a Ride Report please mention “Lancaster and South Lakes Cycle Touring Club” at the beginning and end with “Anyone who is interested in joining us can find information about our regular club rides on Thursdays and Sundays on our website: www.ctclancaster.org.uk.” Send a copy to Neil Westwell who will put it on the webpage and Steve Bateman who send it to the Lancaster ‘Guardian’ and Morecambe ‘Visitor’. Anyone can post their ride reports and photos on the Group Facebook page - once they’ve joined it.

RIDE LEADERS.

CTC have a more accessible version of the guidance for ride leaders who do not wish to sign up for the online training. Anyone thinking of volunteering to lead their first ride may benefit from perusing this option.
