I am pleased to announce that the first of our winter season social events will be a talk with slides by Nigel Cole about cycle touring in Poland. This will take place at The Gregson Centre, Moor Lane, Lancaster onTuesday 19th November, starting at 7.45pm.
We will be setting the room up from 7.30, so help with arranging tables and chairs would be appreciated. We will be providing some Polish-themed snacks. Please either bring your own drinks, or purchase them from the bar downstairs. There will be a raffle. If you have any suitable prizes you could donate for the raffle, this will be welcomed.

The Club now expects riders to have their emergency contact information (ICE) with them when on rides.
Sunday and Thursday Rides are now planned almost until the end of November, and are on the diary, but only three rides for December, including the ride to the Thursday Riders Christmas meal at Knott End on the 12th. Volunteers to lead from December onwards are encouraged and welcomed. Dates can now be included into 2025. Please consult the diary for free dates and send your suggestions to Neil Westwell on ridelancasterctc@gmail.com.
If you write a Ride Report please mention “Lancaster and South Lakes Cycle Touring Club” at the beginning and end with “Anyone who is interested in joining us can find information about our regular club rides on Thursdays and Sundays on our website: www.ctclancaster.org.uk.” Send a copy to Neil Westwell who will put it on the webpage and Steve Bateman who send it to the Lancaster ‘Guardian’ and Morecambe ‘Visitor’. Anyone can post their ride reports and photos on the Group Facebook page - once they’ve joined it.
Anyone fancying a slower, shorter ride on alternate Sunday's might like to join Simeon Orme's group at Where's the Brew Stop.
