Lunch: Littletown Dairy(via Inglewhite and Longridge)

Home via Waddington, Sawley, Slaidburn, Cross of Greet, Wray! (about 50 mile return journey)

A good 70 miles in the day! ( Alternate return route via the Fylde)

Please Note, Jim has arranged this alternative ride because some riders are unable to make his ride to Cleveleys on July 2 and for those unable to manage the distance and ascent planned on Jasper’s ride to Littletown, although there is a further option of a return from Littletown Dairy via the Fylde.

Coffee: At Start from Devil’s Bridge Catering Van

Lunch: Sedbergh, then return to KL via Howgill

Afternoon Ice Cream: Milking Parlour, Kirkby Lonsdale (compliments of our leader one scoop each, no flake)

Directions to start point - On A65 from motorway through KL, take left SP Sedbergh/Casterton, car park first on right opposite Devil’s Bridge.

Directions to start: Drive past Gilpin Bridge on A590, turning right at Millside sign then immediately left onto old road where there is plenty of parking on roadside.

Torver to Seathwaite via Broughton Mills

Seathwaite to Hawkshead via Wrynose Bottoms and Pass.

Hawkshead back to Lanes End

40 miles, Two chunky climbs

Start: Take A590 to Newby Bridge. 3 miles after N.B. look for sign to Rusland, Grizedale, Bouth, turn right then immediately right into long parking lane.

Lunch: Kirkby Lonsdale via Ewebank (possible picnic) OR Lunch at Casterton Golf Club

Afternoon Tea: Hornby Tearooms (if open)

Please note: On the original Sunday ride, the coffee stop was going to be Farleton View who don’t usually open on Monday, but an alternative may be found on the day!

50 miles approximately in total, some potholed roads.
