Jasper is suggesting alternative starts from Quernmore Crossroads at circa 9.45 or Jubilee Tower Carpark at 10.00/10.15.
If you park at Jubilee Tower Carpark, Jasper is offering up to four people a lift back from Boot and Shoe to Jubilee Tower to collect your car.

The Club now expects riders to have their emergency contact information (ICE) with them when on rides.

Volunteers to lead rides in 2026 where there are few rides planned are encouraged and welcomed. Please consult the diary for free dates and send your suggestions to Neil Westwell on ridelancasterctc@gmail.com.
If you write a Ride Report please mention “Lancaster and South Lakes Cycle Touring Club” at the beginning and end with “Anyone who is interested in joining us can find information about our regular club rides on Thursdays and Sundays on our website: www.ctclancaster.org.uk.” Send a copy to Neil Westwell who will put it on the webpage and Steve Bateman who send it to the Lancaster ‘Guardian’ and Morecambe ‘Visitor’. Anyone can post their ride reports and photos on the Group Facebook page - once they’ve joined it.

CTC have a more accessible version of the guidance for ride leaders who do not wish to sign up for the online training. Anyone thinking of volunteering to lead their first ride may benefit from perusing this option.
