This is a reminder that we are having our first club social event of the season this coming Thursday at the Hala Centre in Scotforth, Lancaster.  The event will take the form of a quiz and games evening, with a Jacob's Join buffet.  There will be tea and coffee available.  If you prefer to bring your own drinks, please also bring glasses to drink out of.  Food contributions can be savoury or sweet.

There will be a bicycle jumble for you to exchange decent second hand or unwanted cycle gear.  If your contributions are not taken, please take them back with you.  We will be bringing along John Gilchrist's cycling books and maps collection, which are free to a good home.

The event begins at 7.30pm on Thursday 7th December.  If anyone is available to come along between 7 and 7.30 to help set up the tables and chairs, you will be most welcome.

There is no charge for the evening, but there will be a raffle, with proceeds going to club funds.
