For Sale: Women’s Pashley Provence (19” medium)
This is a beautifully handbuilt, British utility bicycle for a medium sized woman – though a man would look good riding it too! The steel frame has distinctive curving duplex top and down tubes and is finished with a dense ‘dusk blue’ paint. The bike has five Sturmey-Archer hub gears controlled from a twist grip on the handlebars. There are also Sturmey-Archer, low maintenance hub brakes that allow controlled stopping even wet weather. The bike has a factory fitted rear pannier, a quality Brooks leather saddle, puncture resistant Schwalbe Marathon Plus tyres, full mudguards, a rear axle prop-stand, a bell and a quick release seatpost adjuster. This proceeds from the sale of this bicycle will go towards bike riding and repairing sessions for refugees and asylum seekers as well as buying spares and tools for the Lancaster City of Sanctuary Bike Project.
